Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes has told manager, Jose Mourinho to sign “two magical players”.
He said this in reaction to the Red Devils’ 1-0 loss to Chelsea in the FA Cup final.
Eden Hazard’s first-half penalty was enough, as the Blues beat United to win their only silverware of this season.
Scholes, however, believes Hazard was the difference between the two sides.
“They need a big player, [Paul] Pogba does not win you games on your own, [Alexis] Sanchez doesn’t…Hazard does,” Scholes told BT Sport.
“They thought Sanchez could but he hasn’t. They have to improve. They need that magical player, two magical players.
“They’ve got really good players but they haven’t got a Hazard, a [Lionel] Messi, a [Cristiano] Ronaldo. The difference today was Hazard.
“Manchester United just don’t have that. Having said that, I don’t think they’re too far away.”
