Ford Exhibit New Mustang GT500 For 2019 And It’s The Fastest Ever!

Fans of the Mustang series were in for a surprise at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show at Bullitt as Ford surprised those in attendance with a video confirming that the Mustang GT500 is on its way.

A lot of details about the car are still being kept under wraps, however, it’s been confirmed that the car will pack more than 700 horsepower. The car will take its place right above the Shelby GT350 in the series.

The first time the Shelby Mustang GT500 model was seen back in 2014, it had a 5.8-liter supercharged V8,662 horsepower and 631 pound-feet of torque. Back then the Mustang had a top speed of 202 miles per hour although, with the 700+ announcement, these stats are probably going to change soon.

The car will arrive in 2019.
