Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, has played down reports that they are in the race to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal.
Reports on Monday, claimed Manchester City have ended their interest in Sanchez, while the Premier League champions are ready to hijack Manchester United’s move for the player.
But when asked if Chelsea are making a play to sign Sanchez in a press conference on Tuesday, Conte said: “I don’t know, but I don’t think so.”
The Italian had previously admitted that the Blues’ transfer plans is out of his hand.
Sanchez’s move is reportedly being held up by Mkhitaryan, as the Chilean attacker has agreed terms with United.
