Following the conclusion of the round of 16 games at the ongoing Russia 2018 World cup tournament, qualifying teams were given a two-day break before playing the quarter final fixtures, Brainnews Radio report.
The games would resume on Friday with the eight teams left in the competition, playing for a place in the semi-finals of the tournament.
Uruguay, France, Brazil Belgium, Sweden, England, Croatia, and host nation Russia are the countries who will be slugging it out in the next stage of this years World cup.
The fixtures are given below:
Friday, 6th July
Uruguay vs France (3:00pm)
Brazil vs Belgium (7:00pm)
Saturday, 7th July
Sweden vs England (3:00pm)
Russia vs Croatia (7:00pm).
