Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, has insisted he is not planning to buy Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as replacement for Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez has been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Manchester City this January, with his current deal set to expire at the end of the season.
There have been speculations that Wenger will make a move for Aubameyang, who has scored 21 goals in all competitions this season, if the Chilean leaves.
Wenger is, however, adamant it is not on the cards this month.
“No, that is not a possibility,” he told a press conference on Friday.
Wenger also added that he is hopeful of keeping Theo Walcott, who has been linked with a return to Southampton.
“I want him to stay. I heard about that but I want him to stay,” he said.
