Former Manchester United star, Robin van Persie has completed a transfer to Dutch club, Feyenoord.
The club made the announcement on Monday in a statement through their official website.
“Dutch Feyenoord have announced that they have reached an agreement for the transfer of Robin van Persie following a successful medical,” the statement reads.
The 34-year-old has appended his signature to a contract that will tie him to Feyenoord for a year and a half.
The former Arsenal striker is returning fourteen years after he left the club for the English Premier League (EPL).
Van Persie joins Feyenoord on a free transfer from Turkish outfit, Fenerbahçe.
He will have his first training session with his new teammates later on Monday under the guidance of manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
The Netherlands international was a big success in the Premier League with Arsenal, for whom he scored 131 goals in 276 matches, before transferring to Manchester United, then Fenerbahçe in Turkey.
