Remember the SLAY Festival that women couldn’t stop talking about last year?
It’s back!
The festival, which is its second edition, is billed to attract over 3000 women across Africa.
The 2018 SLAY Festival is where you will get the best opportunity for engagement in a long time.
Prominent speakers such Funke Opeke, CEO Main One Cable, Betty Irabor, founder of Genevieve Magazine, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Ink Eze, founder of Asoebibella, will share their experiences and lend their expertise through panel discussions and masterclasses.
The panel discussions will be on topics such as ‘personal branding for career women’, ‘introduction to coding’, ‘taking mobile photography to the next level’, ‘what you need to know about blockchain’ and ‘millennials guide to managing personal finances’.
Also, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from big influencers in the career world. Among them are Oyiza Salu, Group Head of Human Resources at Guaranty Trust Bank who will join a panel discussion on ‘how to get a job at Nigeria’s best places to work’ and Tonye Cole the Executive Director and Founder of Sahara Group, who will share his years of experience as an entrepreneur and innovator during the panel discussion of ‘developing your leadership style’.
There will be a 45-minute intimate coaching session with a senior leader around topics of strategy, marketing, career growth and building relationships; the networking experience focused on speed networking and developing connections as well as the health and wellness section which will provide free health check-ups and healthy living tips.
SLAY Festival promises to be impactful and engaging with opportunities for networking, direct access to career experts and business speakers with global expertise, expert’s corner for 1-on-1 coaching, beauty, hair and skin care demonstrations, live music and a chance to shop from over 75 young entrepreneurs with innovative and exciting products.
In order to ensure that every woman is involved, arrangements for a crèche has also been provided for women with young children.
The festival will hold at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos Island by 12pm through 8pm.
