Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are continuing to run away with the Premier League title and are continuing to set new, unprecedented levels.
Manchester City are seeking a 16th consecutive Premier League win today, having extended their record to 15 against Swansea in midweek. Right now, they are looking far too hot to handle, even for a Tottenham side returning back into form.
A 15th consecutive win, setting a new Premier League record, saw Manchester City maintain their 11 point gap at the top.
Manchester City were rampant in Wales, putting four past Swansea, following up Sunday’s Manchester derby triumph with yet another three points.
Tottenham too were also victorious in midweek, with a third straight win in all competitions, mixed with fortune from results elsewhere, helped them climb back into the top four.
Spurs have put behind them what was a tricky period, in which they went six league fixtures, with just one win.
