UEFA announced the midfielder as the winner via video at the Europa League group draw stage in Monaco on Friday, August 25.
The Europa League Squad of the season was also announced with Pogba and his Manchester United teammates dominating.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Sergio Romero, Antonio Valencia, Daley Blind and Ander Herrera are all in the 18-man selection.
A panel of the managers of the 48 clubs involved in last season's competition and 55 journalists voted Pogba as the winner of the Player of the Season and also the members of the squad.
