Every relationship has its moments, and so do friendships. Let’s say you have a friend and, along the line, you both start getting sexually attracted to each other. Then you end up having sex with them, things get awkward, and it damages the friendship.

While this may seem like the way some modern-day relationships work, there are ways you can stay friends after having sex.

Here are a few tips:

Have “the talk”
It may seem easier to act like nothing happened or to avoid each other, most especially when it was a one-time thing. But it helps both parties to sit, talk and evaluate the friendship. Decide if you both want it to grow into a relationship or not.

Accept the decision made
Sometimes, the feelings may not be mutual, and one party may feel more than another. Either way, it is better to accept whatever decision you both make and move on or end the friendship.

Give some space
If you both have decided not to nurture the relationship, then you can either go ahead and continue as friends or take a healthy break from the friendship in a situation where the feeling isn’t mutual.

Don’t stalk each other
Most people say that the point when they stop stalking their ex is when they know they have finally moved on. Although it will take a while, this is one healthy way to make some space. Take up healthy hobbies, visit new places and just have fun.

Declare boundaries
More often than not when you have sex with a friend, it goes on more than once. Learn to declare boundaries and state what you really want out of the friendship. Until then, you may end up more hurt than when you started.

Hits out at Mourinho , Martial breaks silence on absence from US tour,

Manchester United forward, Anthony Martial, has defended his decision to leave their US camp, for the birth of his second child.

He made it clear that family comes first.

Martial left America over a week ago, against the wishes of manager Jose Mourinho, to fly to Paris.

The 22-year-old has now confirmed in an Instagram post on Wednesday, that he will return to Manchester on Thursday.

“Thank you all for your posts. My little Swan is fine, for the mom it was harder but thanks to God she’s better now.

“Sorry but my family will always come first… Back tomorrow in Manchester,” Martial wrote.

Martial is facing a fine of £180,000, the equivalent of two weeks wages.

Helicopter Gunships, Fighter Aircraft Are Still Deployed To Zamfara State

In compliance with the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has deployed additional troops and air assets along with necessary ground support equipment and logistics facilities to Katsina and Gusau in support of anti-armed banditry operations in the North West..

The deployment began on 29 July 2018 with the NAF C-130H aircraft airlifting required logistics in preparation for the commencement of OPERATION DIRAN MIKIYA, which commenced earlier on Tuesday, 31 July 2018.

The intensive air operation is aimed at seeking out, pursuing and destroying elements engaged in banditry in Zamfara State and environs.

Speaking after launching the Operation, the new Air Officer Commanding (AOC) Special Operations Command (SOC), Air Vice Marshal Samson Akpasa, stated that fighter aircraft, helicopter gunships as well as Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms alongside necessary equipment and personnel had been deployed for the conduct of OPERATION DIRAN MIKIYA.

He noted that the Operation, which was being conducted in close coordination with other security agencies, would be executed with precision and high intensity to quickly degrade the armed bandits and pave way for the return of normalcy in the affected areas.

He emphasized that “there would be no hiding place for the armed bandits” as the NAF would be employing all the means at its disposal to detect the movement and locations of the armed bandits.

Transfer: Manchester United hold talks with PSG to replacement with Neymar

Manchester United have held talks with Paris Saint Germain about signing Neymar this summer.

According to Independent, UK, Neymar was one deal Jose Mourinho was determined to get done before the transfer window closes.

Mourinho is determined to offload forward, Anthony Martial who is yet to jet back to the club’s pre-season tour at Los Angeles after welcoming his second child in Paris.

And the Independent has now claimed that Neymar is key to Martial’s future.

The Brazilian international remains tipped to leave PSG for Real Madrid despite insisting he will not be on the move this summer.

The forward is Real Madrid’s top choice to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, who left for Juventus at the start of the month in a £105million deal.

United have held talks with PSG about taking the 22-year-old off their hands but the Ligue 1 giants have refused.

Should they lose Neymar or Kylian Mbappe, that situation could change.

Dr Ron Ehrlich, the author of A Life Less Stressed, reaffirmed this with his explanation, “Imagine wringing out a wet towel and that’s pretty much what you do to your muscles and joints while you are asleep on your stomach. It can also restrict your ability to breathe well while sleeping.”

Experts agree that the best way to sleep is on your back. This is because it helps with acid reflux and helps people with heartburn. However, it is not advisable for people experiencing back pain.

Before you get worked up, Rachel Salas, M.D, an associate professor of neurology at Johns Hopkins Medicine, says that this might not be something to consider when you are young and fit. “But as you get older and have more medical issues, sleep position can become positive or negative.”

PDP welcomes Saraki, Ahmed back ‘home’

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has welcomed the Senate president, Bukola Saraki and Governor of Kwara State, Abdulfatah Ahmed back to the party.
The duo announced their exit from the ruling party, All Progressive Congress(APC), on Tuesday.

While Ahmed said he was returning to the PDP, which he dumped prior the 2015 general elections, Saraki did not state if he is returning to the PDP.

However, the opposition party has taken its official Twitter account to welcome Saraki and Ahmed back to the party.

“The President of the Nigerian Senate @SPNigeria @NGRSenate Senator Bukola Saraki @bukolasaraki has also dumped the failed and dysfunctional @OfficialAPCNg and has returned to the PDP. @OfficialPDPNig. We welcome him back home,” the PDP said in a post on Twitter.

Arsenal vs PSG: Emery reveals why Ozil was made captain

Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, has said he handed Mesut Ozil the captain’s armband for their International Champions Cup (ICC) victory over Paris Saint-Germain, because he believes the German can “take the responsibility”.

Ozil, 29, made his first start for the Gunners under Unai Emery this season on Saturday, and opened the scoring as they thrashed the Ligue 1 champions 5-1.

Emery was asked to explain why he named Ozil his skipper after the game.

“We are working together and giving the responsibility to the player.

Transfer: Wenger lands new job after leaving Arsenal

Arsene Wenger is set to play an advisory role for the Japan national team, after Hajime Moriyasu was announced as head coach on Thursday.

Before his 22 years at Arsenal, Wenger spent 18 months in Japan as coach of Nagoya Grampus from 1995 to 1996.

The 68 year-old, who left the London club in May, was linked with the national team job before the Japan Football Association (JFA) decided to appoint a domestic coach to succeed Akira Nishino.

According to Sports Nippon newspaper, the JFA could still offer Wenger the post of technical director or even a more unofficial advisory role.

“I met Wenger during the World Cup in Russia,” JFA president Kozo Tashima was quoted as saying.

“He is taking a break from football but we talked about Japanese football.”

Chioma speaks on abandoning school for Davido

Davido’s girlfriend, Chioma has reacted to reports that she abandoned her education to be with the OBO crooner.

Earlier on Wednesday, the social media was agog with reports that Chioma abandoned her education in Babcock University.

The report claimed that her father is unhappy with her refusal to focus on education and become a graduate before getting married.

According to the viral report, Chioma is expected to have graduated since 2016 after she gained admission to study Economics in 2012. However, she is still in her third year.

Responding to the reports, the Chef shared a post on her Instagram page.
